At least a Shadow Priest could theoretically use any of the void-themed Holy/Disc appearances if they had a staff, if they lifted the spec-locking restriction.įurthermore, the "clarity" argument makes no sense either. I understand the logic behind keeping them class locked, but there's so many specs where they just are unlikely to find weapons that would allow them to use their appearance (Ele shaman, Holy Paladin, Demonology Warlock, Shadow Priest, Fire Mage all immediately come to mind) - so not only do they lose their artifact appearances, but even if they bothered to unlock appearances for their other specs, they wouldn't have access to those either, since they'd be locked to that spec. Just want to second this, and further state that there's no logical reason to restrict these transmogs.Īs a holy paladin, my artifact appearances are dead after Legion, because Holy paladin is back to sword and board after Legion, and all of the artifact appearances are for a 2h weapon. I hope someone at Blizzard sees this and tries to understand how important transmog is for some of us, and how disappointing it can be to limit these options. I prefer using bows as a hunter and I unfortunately missed out on my favourite bow skin, the WoD Mythic dungeon challenge skin (living longbow). I've been playing legion as a BM main for a while now, and none of the BM artifact skins are to my taste (even though I've unlocked most of them including the challenge skins).
